Every distribution chart a Power BI analyst reaches for, done properly, and the statistics that say whether your groups really differ. Six views over the same fields, switched with tabs: box plot, violin, raincloud, ridgeline, beeswarm and histogram.

Free, and never blocked

• Quartiles that match your DAX: Excel / DAX PERCENTILE.INC by default, plus Tukey's hinges, Excel exclusive / Minitab / SPSS and all nine Hyndman-Fan types. The footnote names the method.
• Box plots: 1.5 x IQR (adjustable), percentile, mean +/- SD or min-max whiskers; outliers and far outliers; mean marker; points behind the box.
• Density: violin, half violin, split violin, raincloud and ridgeline with Scott, Silverman or R bandwidths and a smoothness control.
• Histogram: Freedman-Diaconis, Sturges, Scott, Rice, square root, Doane, a fixed count or width, or your own bin edges; round edges and a bin start; count, percent or density; cumulative line; density and normal curves.
• Reference lines in every view: mean, median and up to four percentiles, for all data or per group.
• Real data: Split By, sorting by median, mean, spread or n, a minimum group size, and a Value (as column) + Count input that sends each distinct value once, so large tables fit.
• A smart caption with the finding, a methods footnote, four themes, keyboard navigation, high contrast, cross-filtering, English and Czech.

Readers without a licence always see the free chart: no watermark, no broken report.

Premium: compare and prove (per-user licence)

• Significance between groups: Welch t or Mann-Whitney U with Holm or Bonferroni, Welch's ANOVA, ANOVA or Kruskal-Wallis, shown as brackets with stars or A / B / C letters.
• Confidence intervals: mean +/- t interval and notched boxes.
• Weights: weighted quartiles, densities, means and Welch tests with Kish effective n.
• Process capability: spec limits typed or from LSL / USL / Target measures, so every product or line gets its own; Cp, Cpk, Cpl, Cpu, Cpm, Pp, Ppk, ppm out of spec and control limits.
• Advanced density (six kernels, bounds) and small multiples.

Multi-view or a single view?

This visual holds all six views and costs $4.49 per user per month. The single views (SmartVisuals Box Plot, Violin, Beeswarm and Histogram, $1.99 each) use the same engine, free tier and premium layer for their chart type. Licences do not carry across offers. One chart type: a single view is cheaper. Two: two single views cost $3.98. Three or more, or switching views over one set of fields: this one.

Built properly

All statistics run offline inside the visual, golden-tested against scipy, numpy and statsmodels. No external calls, no telemetry.
