SpreadsheetConverter

by Framtidsforum I&M AB

Convert Excel spreadsheets to live web pages and web apps!

SpreadsheetConverter turns an Excel workbook — formulas, formatting, charts, and all — into a single self-contained HTML page that calculates live in your visitor's browser. No server round-trip, no plugins, no Excel required on the viewer's machine.

Free trial, then a paid subscription

SpreadsheetConverter starts as a feature-limited free trial so you can convert real workbooks and see the result in your browser. Under the trial, conversions are limited to the first 20 rows of the first worksheet, and the generated page carries a trial watermark.

A paid subscription (license) is required to unlock the full, non-trial feature set — it removes the watermark and the row/sheet limit. Paid plans are offered monthly or annually; pricing and purchase are available from the Licensing link inside the add-in and on this listing. There is no separate account to create — the add-in signs you in with your existing Microsoft 365 identity, and your trial-or-paid status follows your sign-in across your devices.

Build your model in Excel the way you always have. Select a range, click Convert, and SpreadsheetConverter compiles your spreadsheet into a static web page you can host anywhere — your own web server, cloud storage, or simply emailed as a file.

What you get

  • Formulas that calculate. SUM, IF, VLOOKUP and 380+ Excel functions compile to JavaScript that runs in the visitor's browser. Change an input and the results recalculate instantly.
  • Your formatting, preserved. Number formats, colors, borders, conditional formatting, and merged cells carry across to the web page.
  • Charts that redraw. Your Excel charts render in the web page — not as a static screenshot — and update live as the numbers recalculate.
  • Interactive widgets. Wire drop-downs, sliders, checkboxes, and date pickers to your formulas so visitors can explore your model.
  • One portable file. The output is static HTML — host it on any web server or send it by email. Nothing to install for the people who view it.

Common uses — price quotes and order forms, mortgage and loan calculators, ROI and savings estimators, quizzes and scoring tools — anything you model in Excel and want to publish on the web.

Sign-in required. This add-in requires sign-in with a Microsoft 365 (work, school, or personal Microsoft) account. Your email is used only to identify your trial-or-paid entitlement — see our privacy policy, linked on this listing, for exactly what is stored.

Works where you work

Runs in Excel on Windows and Excel on the web — built on a modern, COM-free .xlsx engine, so it behaves the same across desktop and browser.
