Connect DocFinance to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
DocFinance is a Treasury Management System (TMS) designed for real-time control of corporate cash flows. It integrates with banking systems and ERP platforms, centralizing all financial operations in one place
The connector between DocFinance and Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations enables a structured and automated exchange of financial data between the two systems, improving operational efficiency and reducing the risk of manual errors.
The connector is managed through the interface dashboard within Dynamics 365 F&O, which serves as a control point for importing and exporting data.
The data flow is bidirectional: on one side, DocFinance exports information such as collections, payments, and bank statements to be imported into D365; on the other side, D365 generates files to be sent to DocFinance containing open items related to customers and vendors – including outstanding invoices and advance payments.
Key functions include:
- Automatic transfer of master data (customers, vendors, accounts, etc.) from D365 to DocFinance
- Sending financial transactions generated in DocFinance (e.g., collections, payments, bank reconciliations) to the accounting module in D365
- Monitoring of bank transactions directly from D365, using data coming from DocFinance
- Reduction of errors and time savings by eliminating manual entry and manual reconciliation of bank data
- Automatic creation of journal entries (or accounting postings) in D365 based on transactions processed in DocFinance
- Real-time cash visibility across all accounts and banks.
- Centralized treasury management for multiple companies or business units.
- Enhanced financial decision-making through data-driven insights.
- Streamlined bank communication via direct connections (CBI, SWIFT, etc.).
- Automated cash forecasting and liquidity planning.
