The Beverage Container Return Scheme (BCRS) extension for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central automates the management of container deposit charges and refunds in compliance with Singapore's Beverage Container Return Scheme. When a beverage container is sold, a deposit is collected from the customer. When the container is returned, the deposit is refunded. This extension seamlessly integrates BCRS deposit handling into your existing sales and purchase workflows — eliminating manual data entry and ensuring accuracy across all document types.

Key Functions:

• Automatically create deposit charge lines on sales documents (Orders, Invoices, Credit Memos, Return Orders, Quotes, and Blanket Orders) whenever a BCRS-eligible beverage item is added.
• Automatically create deposit charge lines on purchase documents (Orders, Invoices, Credit Memos, Return Orders, Quotes, and Blanket Orders) for vendor-side deposit management.
• Synchronize deposit line quantities, locations, and shipping/receiving quantities in real time whenever the parent item line is updated.
• Automatically include deposit lines when undoing posted Sales Shipments, Purchase Receipts, Return Shipments, and Return Receipts.
• Carry deposit lines accurately when using Copy Document from posted invoices, shipments, receipts, and credit memos.
• Configure deposit quantities per Unit of Measure — supporting scenarios where one unit (e.g., a crate) contains multiple containers.
• Disable automatic deposit calculation selectively per customer or vendor for exempt trading partners such as licensed recyclers.
