Data Oversight

Data Oversight is a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central add-on developed by Binary Lab that helps organizations enforce consistent, accurate master data across your system.

It allows businesses to define validation rules for critical master data such as items, customers, vendors, G/L accounts, and resources. Specific fields can be monitored to ensure they are populated correctly, either by checking for blank values or by applying conditional validation based on the values of other fields.

Using configurable Data Oversight Profiles and Data Oversight Lines, organizations can standardize how data is maintained, reduce configuration errors, and prevent incomplete or incorrect records from being used. When validation rules are breached, the system can optionally block the record, ensuring data quality is enforced at the point of entry.
