Simple Dynamic Date Slicer

The Simple Dynamic Date Slicer lets users filter time-based data in Power BI using either a Fixed or Relative mode. Designed to be integrated into Power BI to add more flexibility for users when it comes to filtering a dataset using a date range.

Features
Fixed mode
1. Select Start Date (or type in date)
2. Select End Date (or type in date)

Relative mode
1. Select (Last / Next / This)
2. Enter numeric value
3. Choose period:
  a. Days
  b. Weeks
  c. Weeks (Calendar)
  d. Months
  e. Months (Calendar)
  f. Years
  g. Years (Calendar)

Configurable UI
1. Configure colors, text styles, outlines, and more!
2. Toggleable Clear button
3. Toggle On/Off labels for specific relative units (example: disabling Weeks (Calendar) if it isn’t needed).

Additional info
ONLY 1 FILTER is applied at a time—the slicers work independently of one another. For Fixed ranges, labels clamp to the dataset’s effective min/max when a user selects a range outside the available data so it’s clear what’s included. The selected mode and values are persisted so the slicer remains consistent when navigating away from and back to the page.
