Store Associate Assist Agents for Retail: 4-Week PoV
MAQ Software
Retailers face pressure to keep stores running with lean, high-turnover teams, yet associates still work across disconnected systems for SOPs, inventory, and compliance, slowing service and delaying proficiency for new hires.
MAQ Software deploys a multi-agent assistant for frontline workers on Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry through Teams. Five agents deliver role-aware answers grounded in store data via Microsoft Foundry IQ, Microsoft Fabric IQ, Work IQ.
Business Challenge
- Associates spends a lot of time searching disconnected systems for SOPs, inventory, and compliance docs.
- New hires take weeks to reach proficiency.
- Planogram compliance drops without real-time task prioritization.
- Customer interactions lose conversion without product knowledge and next-best-actions.
Key Questions
- Can associates access SOPs and inventory instantly?
- How long does onboarding take?
- Is planogram compliance tracked in real time?
- Do associates have guided selling support?
