The IFX Managed Azure Core service delivers a fully managed Azure Foundation Platform, developed and continuously maintained in alignment with Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework and its Ready methodology. This solution helps small and medium-sized organizations accelerate their cloud adoption journey by reducing complexity and bridging knowledge gaps in platform provisioning and operational support. From a high-level perspective, the Azure Foundation Platform acts as a secure and scalable hosting environment for applications and workloads. Through Managed Azure Core, customers gain a robust foundation for their cloud strategy, with platform operations provided as an outsourced managed service for maximum efficiency. The service is built on reference architecture based on Landing Zone principles, ensuring compliance, governance, and best practices for enterprise-grade deployments.

Licensing

• Additional licensing may apply in case of customer choses CATO SD-WAN as a standard on-premises connectivity solution.

What's included:

• Tenant and Billing. Customers can either bring an existing Microsoft Entra ID tenant or choose to provision a new one. Our service includes CSP subscription provisioning and billing setup.
• Identity and Access. Controlled access to customer tenant and prvisioned CSP subscriptions, basic Entra ID management and seamless synchronization of user identities with the customer’s on-premises environment.
• Network Topology and Access. Traditional Hub-and-Spoke topology ready to scale as required, optional SD-WAN solution powered by CATO Networks to accelrated and protect network traffic, on-premises connectivity and DNS name resolution.
• Monitoring. Monitoring of the platform components and centralized logging.
• Governance. Baseline governance set to provide platform guardrails and customer specific policies as per customer requirements.
• Security. Basic security management through Microsoft Defender for Cloud with possible extension to advacned security management.

Basic Platform Management

This plan provides comprehensive management of the Azure Foundation Platform components and is ideal for organizations seeking end-to-end management of foundational Azure services, ensuring stability, security, and compliance across their cloud environment.

What is included:

• Tenant and Billing – Centralized control of subscription and cost management.
• Network Topology and Access – Secure and scalable network architecture with controlled access.
• Governance and Security – Enforcement of compliance and security best practices.

In addition, this plan covers management of components within the Platform Management Baseline:

• Inventory and Visibility – Full transparency into resources and configurations.
• Resource Provisioning – Provisioning of Azure resources according to requirements
• Operational Compliance – Continuous alignment with governance and operational standards, Windows Server update management, backup and restore for Azure virtual machines.

Advanced Platform Management
