The solution reads a unique shipment identifier present in the document and uses it to locate the matching record before updating fields or saving the document. Documents that cannot be matched are flagged for review.

Update only the fields mapped to that document

Extract the required information and update its corresponding target fields in CargoWise. Document-specific field mapping helps your team automate the information it needs without changing unrelated fields.

Process revised documents against the same record

When a revised eDoc arrives, the solution can match it to the same shipment and update the corresponding mapped fields, subject to configured validation rules.

Update customs and delivery milestones

Use the relevant dates in documents to update configured customs and delivery milestones automatically.

Where required, Enkaytech can extend the CargoWise workflow with EDI or API triggers to send periodic updates when milestones are reached.

Check document sequence before updating

If a document arrives outside the configured sequence, the solution emails operations and pauses the record update for review.

View reports and track exceptions through DataTrove
