EntityBrowser
by Measure IT Group SRL
Explore Power BI models in Microsoft 365 Copilot and continue in EntityBrowser.
Start with a question. Continue with navigation.
EntityBrowser is designed for business users, analysts, managers and operational teams who want to explore business information, investigate details and follow evidence. They can start with Microsoft 365 Copilot or navigate directly through a browser interface supporting desktop and touch devices.
In Microsoft 365 Copilot, discover models registered in EntityBrowser and saved Global Views, read saved-view data using your signed-in Power BI access, follow supported configured links into related models, and create links to grids with one row grouping, selected measures and optional inclusion filters. Model and field descriptions provide context for interpreting results.
Open the returned links to continue filtering and navigating in EntityBrowser in your web browser. Interactive grids and further browser navigation take place outside the Copilot conversation.
Users sign in with their Microsoft work or school account through Microsoft Entra ID. EntityBrowser retrieves business data on behalf of the signed-in user, using that user's Power BI permissions. Power BI enforces the applicable row-level security rules.
Requirements: An active, configured EntityBrowser account is required, together with access to the relevant Power BI content and a compatible Microsoft 365 Copilot experience that supports this plugin. Appropriate Microsoft licenses and administrator consent may be required. Models must be registered and configured in EntityBrowser; these can be existing or newly created Power BI semantic models. Available saved views and navigation links depend on your organization's EntityBrowser configuration.
Each data request in chat returns up to 200 rows and indicates when more rows are available. Continue in EntityBrowser to zoom in, adjust filters and explore further. Creating a grid link prepares navigation state and does not itself read data or save a view.
EntityBrowser access is available through a subscription or free pilot. To arrange access, setup assistance or support, visit https://site.entitybrowser.com/inquire. Product information: https://site.entitybrowser.com.
