Pedagrade
by Pedagrade
Check each lesson and quiz against your learning objectives, right inside Word.
Pedagrade is a course design checker for instructional designers. Use it while you build: select a lesson, a quiz, or a storyboard section in Word and check it against your course's learning objectives. Or review the whole document as one course before it goes to your SME.
What it checks
- Alignment: whether each objective is taught, practiced, and assessed, and where the gaps are
- Quiz quality: wrong answer keys, weak wrong answers, and questions that give the answer away
- Level: whether practice and quiz questions ask for the thinking your objectives call for (Bloom's Taxonomy)
- Learning science and accessibility basics, in the whole-course review
How it works in Word
- Pick your course once. Pedagrade remembers it for each document.
- Select a lesson or quiz and click Check selected text, or switch to Whole course to review the full document. A check takes about 30 seconds.
- Start with the verdict and what to fix first, then go one fix at a time.
- Add each fix as a Word comment on the exact text it's about, so you and your SME can work through them in the document.
- Every check comes with a verification link, so a reviewer can confirm it came from Pedagrade.
Pedagrade is a second set of eyes, never a replacement for the instructional designer. It shows what to fix and why. You make the call.
Privacy: Pedagrade never sends your course to OpenAI, Anthropic, or any other AI company. Your course is never used to train any model.
Requires a Pedagrade account. Creating one is free and includes one whole-course review and 10 lesson and quiz checks. More reviews need a course pass or the Pro plan (additional purchase may be required).
