SharePass for Outlook
by SharePass
Just a moment, logging you in...
Spots passwords and private details in your email and shares them as encrypted links that expire.
Stop sending passwords in plain email. SharePass for Outlook spots passwords, PINs, card numbers, keys and other private details in the message you are writing, and turns them into SharePass links: encrypted in Outlook before they leave your computer, and gone when they expire. SharePass never sees what you share.
What it does, right from the message you are writing:
- Checks your message: the SharePass pane lists what looks private in the message and in your attachments' names, each with SharePass it. While the pane is open, a bar over the message says what it found. The check runs on your computer; nothing is sent to be checked.
- Warns before sending: if the message still holds something private when you click Send, Outlook asks whether to SharePass it first or send anyway.
- SharePass it: choose how long the link lasts, whether it can be opened once or again, a label, and in More options which IP addresses may open it and whether it needs a PIN or an email code. SharePass suggests the descriptions from your message.
- Share a file: an attachment or a file from your computer becomes a SharePass link instead.
- Default template / With a template: one click with your account's or your organisation's settings.
- Request a secret: a link where the other person sends you a password or private details, encrypted to keys only you have.
Sign in the way you already do on SharePass: password and code, Google, Apple, or your company's single sign-on. Companies with their own SharePass (SharePass One) sign in on their own page.
Requires a SharePass account (pro.sharepass.com). There is a free plan.
