ReadNTag for Microsoft Word brings your research workspace into the document you are writing. With your library open in a side pane, you can find the right paper, cite it, and keep your bibliography up to date without leaving Word.

• Cite from your library. Search your ReadNTag library in the pane, pick one or more papers, and insert a citation.
• Keep a live bibliography. Your reference list updates as you cite, delete, or restyle, or only when you ask. Choose from thousands of citation styles; switch the style and every citation and the bibliography re-render to match.
• Quote your own highlights. Insert a highlight you saved as a quote, with the citation and page number filled in for you, or open the full ReadNTag PDF reader next to your document and pull highlights straight from it.

You can also filter your library by topics, projects, and highlight tags, and see those labels on every paper. Citations are stored as Word content controls, so they stay updatable. ReadNTag for Word is free to install and works with a ReadNTag account.

Before you install

• A ReadNTag account is required, and your citations come from your ReadNTag library.
• An internet connection is needed to search your library and insert citations.
• ReadNTag works with Word for Microsoft 365 on Windows and with Word on the web. Word on mobile devices is not supported.
• The interface is in English.
