PDF OCR and Snip for myocr.app

myocr.app brings document OCR into your spreadsheet. Load a PDF, a scan or a photo in the task pane, then:

• Snip to cell — draw a rectangle on the document and the recognized value lands in the cell you choose.
• Import tables — recognize a table from a selection, from a page or from a whole multi-page document, and write it to the sheet.
• Bank statements — import a whole statement (up to 10 pages) and check that opening balance + credits − debits equals the closing balance.
• Batch — convert many documents in one go: one sheet per document, everything stacked in one sheet, one row per file with the columns you choose, or a list with one row per entry.
• Source links — snipped values and imported tables stay linked to the document they came from. Select a linked cell to see the source page and region: useful for audit, review and bookkeeping.
• Verify — check that linked cells still match what was read from the document and highlight any change; a cell can also be re-read from the source.
• Sum snip — select several amounts and send their sum to a cell.
• Templates — define the fields once (supplier, date, total…), then apply them to documents with the same layout: one row per document.

Works with PDFs, scans and photos.

Account and pricing
The add-in requires a myocr.app account and, after a free trial, a paid subscription.

• Free trial: 5 pages, one-time. A payment card is verified to start the trial; nothing is charged.
• Starter: €19 per month, 1,200 pages per month.
• Pro: €49 per month, 3,500 pages per month.

Subscriptions are purchased on the myocr.app website (https://www.myocr.app/excel-addin), not inside the add-in. Prices may vary by country. Each extraction (a cell, an area, a table page) uses one page of your plan; "Verify all" is free. Plan pages can also be used for conversions on the myocr.app website.
