Backdocket

Backdocket is legal practice management software for law firms across practice areas. This connector brings your firm's Backdocket data into Microsoft 365 Copilot, so you can ask about your cases in plain language from Copilot Chat, Researcher, and other Microsoft 365 Copilot experiences.

With the Backdocket connector you can:

• Find claims and matters by client name, case number, status, date, or other fields
• Review a claim's status, assigned staff, key dates, and related contacts
• Look up contacts by name, email, or phone and see the claims they are connected to
• Review open tasks, deadlines, and calendar events
• Run your firm's saved Backdocket searches and summarize the results, such as counts by status or claims opened in a date range

Secure by design:

• Each user signs in with their own Backdocket account.
• Copilot sees only the data that user is already permitted to see in Backdocket, and only for their own firm.
• Your Microsoft 365 administrator approves the connector before anyone in your organization can use it.

Requirements and limitations:

• In order to use this app, you need to have an active Backdocket account. Backdocket is a paid subscription.
• Your organization needs a Microsoft 365 Copilot license or Copilot Chat access.
• The connector reads your Backdocket data. It does not create or change records.
• Available in English only.
