AI-powered business development coach and campaign notifications for legal teams
BD Buddy — AI-powered business development coaching for legal and professional services teams, right inside Microsoft Teams.
WHAT BD BUDDY IS
BD Buddy is an AI-powered business development (BD) platform for law firms and professional services firms. It combines campaign tracking, weekly task management, gamified progress, and an AI BD coach named Buzz to help professionals build consistent BD habits. The Microsoft Teams app delivers your weekly BD targets, check-ins, and AI coaching in the chat window you already work in.
WHO IT IS FOR
• Lawyers, partners, and associates balancing billable work with regular, targeted client development.
• Law firm BD and marketing leaders who launch structured campaigns, monitor firm-wide participation, and track strategic outreach.
THE PROBLEM IT SOLVES
Consistent business development is hard to sustain alongside billable hour commitments, unclear next steps, and constant tool switching. BD Buddy brings campaign targets, actionable reminders, and AI drafting assistance into Teams so BD stays visible and takes minutes, not hours.
WHAT YOU CAN DO IN TEAMS
• Weekly target notifications: assigned BD tasks and campaign objectives delivered to your Teams chat.
• Interactive weekly check-ins: Adaptive Cards with one-click buttons to log and complete your weekly BD progress without leaving Teams.
• AI coaching and task suggestions: context-specific tips and suggested message outlines from Buzz AI for your active weekly tasks.
• Deep-link navigation: secure links to full campaign details, leaderboards, and drafting tools in the BD Buddy web app.
KEY BENEFITS
1. Higher BD consistency — regular, non-intrusive reminders keep weekly goals on track.
2. Less friction — review targets and submit check-ins directly in Teams.
3. Firm alignment — individual activity stays connected to practice group and firm-level campaigns.
HOW AI IS USED
Buzz AI analyzes your assigned campaign tasks and offers step-by-step coaching tailored to your practice area and BD focus, and helps draft personalized outreach messages and thought-leadership ideas from your inputs. All AI output is presented as drafts and suggestions only. You can review, edit, copy, or discard any suggestion. BD Buddy never publishes or sends AI-generated content to external recipients without your direct action.
