The staff directory SharePoint lacks - live cards, presence, org view, celebrations, self-service.
SharePoint has no real staff directory. Glow Cloud Kit - Directory is a proper one: your people in four card layouts (Standard cards, Profile, Compact rows and Photo tiles), with live contact cards, Microsoft Teams presence and full-resolution photos, instant search, an A to Z jump, and department and office location filters that fill themselves from your own directory so a newly added web part works with nothing to type. Add a filter on any Entra attribute you choose, and set the column count and results per page.
An Organisation tab shows the reporting chain in the Org Chart style, and person cards can show related people in a relationship you name yourself, such as Attorneys and Secretaries. Each pairing is stored once so the two directions can never disagree, and an optional filter narrows the whole directory to one side of it. Anyone whose account has been blocked or deleted is treated as having left and drops out on its own.
Optional celebration strips show upcoming birthdays and work anniversaries, with a badge on the milestone years. Staff opt in themselves and can share the day without the year. Four profile fields that you label yourself let people add their own pronouns, languages, working pattern or anything else you choose, each person editing only their own entry.
Style the title banner with a shape, a fill, a gradient or a background image, set a custom card colour with automatic text contrast (the Chat button adopts it), and add your own logo. Lock a web part to a single department, include or exclude guests, hide specific people with an exclusions list, export results to CSV, and move a finished configuration to another site as JSON.

What the package contains: one SharePoint Framework client-side web part, Glow Cloud Directory. It can be added to any SharePoint page or hosted as a full-page app. The package contains no extensions, no Teams tabs and no personal apps.
