Excelente turns Excel into an AI workspace. Pick any model on OpenRouter — Claude, GPT, Gemini, Llama, or anything else — bring your own API key, and put an autonomous agent to work inside your workbook.

The agent reads your workbook, plans, calls Excel tools, and writes back only under your approval. Every write is reversible from a one-click undo. Nothing happens to your file you didn't authorize.

How it works

1. Install from Microsoft Marketplace.

2. Create an OpenRouter account and get an API key at openrouter.ai. Paid model usage is billed to you by OpenRouter; free-tier models cost nothing.

3. Paste the key into Excelente's settings — it's kept in Office's per-user add-in storage on your own machine, never sent to CRE Edge, and used only to authenticate your model requests to OpenRouter.

4. Pick a model and start asking.

Privacy
