Kipper for NetSuite, QuickBooks, and Xero answers questions about your accounting data inside Microsoft Teams. Ask in plain English in any chat or channel, and get answers from your NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Xero records without logging in to your accounting system or exporting reports.
What you can ask
- NetSuite: sales orders, quotes, invoices, purchase orders, vendors, and inventory quantity on hand, so sales and operations channels get answers without a NetSuite seat. NetSuite in Teams
- QuickBooks: past-due invoices by customer, bills due this week, payments, and invoice totals by Class. Works with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop. QuickBooks in Teams
- Xero: overdue invoices by contact, invoice totals by Tracking Category, open purchase orders, supplier credits, credit notes, and prepayments. Xero in Teams
Follow-up questions build on the previous answer. Example: "Which invoices are overdue?" then "Which customers have more than one overdue invoice?"
Who it's for
Teams that run on NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Xero: operations, sales, and project staff who need accounting answers without an accounting-system login, and the finance staff and bookkeepers who currently field those questions.
Setup requirements
- A Kipper account. Sign up at https://kipper.com, where pricing is also listed.
- Your accounting system connected in Kipper. QuickBooks and Xero connect by signing in to the accounting system. NetSuite requires an administrator to create an integration record and enter its credentials in Kipper. Kipper requests read-only access and never changes your accounting data.
- Approval from a Microsoft 365 administrator. If you are not an administrator, Kipper generates a consent link you can send to your administrator.
Getting started
Connect your accounting system in Kipper, approve the Teams app, add Kipper for NetSuite, QuickBooks, and Xero to Teams, then ask your first question in any chat or channel.
How your data is handled
