Send Microsoft Teams messages at the right time, without relying on someone to remember.
Schedule Message helps individuals and teams plan one-time announcements, recurring reminders, standups, check-ins, and follow-ups directly in Microsoft Teams.
Open the personal app to schedule a message once or repeat it daily, on weekdays, weekly, monthly, yearly, or on a custom interval. Choose a timezone and send to your personal chat or a selected standard team channel. Connect Microsoft when you want to send as yourself, choose another team or channel, or use Outlook. Automatic installation in a selected team may require Microsoft 365 administrator consent.
Collaborative scopes
In a team channel, shared channel, or group chat, help is public. schedule opens a private form locked to the current conversation and to Schedule Message as the sender. The draft, timing, timezone, and confirmation stay private to the person scheduling; the final scheduled message is public to everyone in the conversation. Internal, guest, and external members receive the same experience. Private reminders, schedule management, personal destinations, and Outlook digest setup stay in the 1:1 app.
