Network Interfaces are used to configure IP addresses, Virtual Network settings, and DNS servers that will be assigned to a Virtual Machine. Microsoft Azure supports attaching multiple Network Interfaces (NICs) to a Virtual Machine for additional flexibility in network connectivity options.
