Get orders out the door accurately: picking and shipping
Sales orders and warehouse picks load onto the device and guide workers through item scanning and quantity confirmation. The device rejects a wrong item the moment it is scanned. Every transaction posts immediately to Business Central.
Receive and put away without paper: receiving and put-away
Purchase orders are automatically loaded onto the device. Workers scan items, capture lot and serial numbers, and confirm quantities without paper. Barcode labels can be printed to any networked printer from the device.
Count inventory on the same device: standard inventory counting
Inventory counts run on the same device as picking and receiving. Workers scan bins and items to record quantities, with results posting directly to the physical inventory journal in Business Central. For lot and serial number counting and advanced count management, Advanced Inventory Count is available as a paid add-on.
Works with your Business Central setup: three configurations
WMS Express is installed in one of three configurations based on how Business Central is set up. Standard covers purchase order receiving, and sales order pick and ship, without warehouse documents. Basic Warehouse adds inventory picks and put-aways, including transfer receipts and shipments. Warehouse supports full document workflows, including warehouse receipts, put-aways, and picks, with transfer order support. Use existing hardware or source devices from Insight Works: Android device support
WMS Express runs on most Android-based barcode scanners and tablets. Existing devices can often be used as-is, and Insight Works offers a hardware selection for new deployments. Up to five devices per company are supported at no cost.
