The File Binder is an add-on component that compiles files from multiple sources linked to a single record into one PDF. Users can visually rearrange documents and pages, as well as add custom page titles. Once generated, the solution attaches the PDF back to the parent record or enables direct file downloads without requiring external cloud storage platforms.
Built for Dataverse, the File Binder adds missing capabilities by replacing custom-coded plugins or third-party document generation tools. It integrates directly into Model-Driven or Canvas Apps as a configurable component. It maps to standard or custom tables to define which related records, attachments, or communication logs. It features filtering rules to automatically exclude specific file types from the final PDF.
