Ansvar

Ansvar is an agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot that connects to the Ansvar research gateway, which serves European and United States law, regulation, standards, and case law drawn from official publishers.

Ask a legal or compliance research question in Copilot and Ansvar retrieves the provisions that answer it, with a paragraph-level citation to the publisher behind every statement. Copilot answers from the retrieved sources rather than from model memory, and reports when no source matches, so a gap stays visible instead of being filled in.

What you can do:

• Look up obligations under regimes such as the GDPR, NIS2, DORA, the EU AI Act, and the Cyber Resilience Act, at article level.
• Read national implementing law next to the EU instrument it transposes.
• Retrieve security and privacy standards and control frameworks, and compare requirements across them.
• Check case law and regulator guidance on a provision, where your subscription includes them.
• Run structured compliance workflows, including gap analysis, threat modeling, and data protection impact assessments, where your subscription includes them.

Access requires an Ansvar account. Each user signs in with their own credentials, and the content and workflows they reach reflect that user's own subscription. Sign-in is handled by the Ansvar identity service, and the app stores no shared or embedded credentials.

Getting an account needs no purchase. The first sign-in from inside Copilot opens the Ansvar sign-up, where a free tier is available, so you can try the agent and then move to a paid tier when you need the wider content and the workflows.
