NVIDIA Isaac Sim™ is an open-source reference framework built on NVIDIA Omniverse™ that enables developers to simulate and test AI-driven robotics solutions in physically based virtual environments. Isaac Sim is fully extensible. This enables developers to build Universal Scene Description (OpenUSD)-based custom simulators or integrate core Isaac Sim technologies into existing testing and validation pipelines.
The NVIDIA Isaac Sim Development Workstation VMI enables users to provision a virtual machine with graphical capabilities within Microsoft Azure eliminating the need to run Omniverse-based applications locally on an RTX-enabled workstation.

Use of NVIDIA Isaac Sim Development workstation requires membership in the NVIDIA developers program, which developers can sign up for free at https://developer.nvidia.com. NVIDIA Isaac Sim is a free reference application built on the NVIDIA Omniverse Kit. With a membership to the NVIDIA Developer Program, a free developer license is provided for Kit, which allows Isaac Sim to be freely used for non-production use.
