SoftForge Checklists
durch SoftForge AG
Template-based checklists for recurring team processes in SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
SoftForge Checklists turns recurring work into checklists that run the same way every time — employee onboarding and offboarding, audits, project kick-offs, handovers, property management, or any process your team repeats.
Every checklist comes from a template. The template defines the tasks and the metadata fields captured on each checklist created from it, so the tenth checklist is as complete as the first.
What you get
- Three views over the same data — table, cards, or a board grouped by status, with statistics tiles for All, Active, Overdue and Assigned to me.
- A guided template wizard — paste a task list straight from Word, Excel or an email and groups and optional steps are recognised automatically.
- Your own metadata fields — text, selection, date, person, number, yes/no, link, and managed metadata. Define a field once and reuse it across any number of templates.
- Sequential checklists — tasks unlock one after another, so nothing is done out of order.
- Tasks that carry their context — assignee, due date, description, comments, and a nudge for the responsible person. Optional tasks can be marked as not required.
- Personal settings per user — accent colour, density, and preferred views, without affecting anyone else.
- XLSX export of any checklist.
Runs in your own tenant
Checklists is an SPFx web part. It runs on SharePoint Online or SharePoint on-premises and as a tab in Microsoft Teams, and it stores its data in a SharePoint list on the site of your choice. No checklist data leaves your Microsoft 365 environment. The interface is available in German and English and follows each user's language setting.
Licence required
This package installs the app. To use it, your tenant needs a SoftForge Checklists subscription from the SoftForge Checklists offer on Microsoft AppSource, and each user needs a licence assigned. A SharePoint administrator has to approve the app's API access requests once after installation.
This solution contains a single SharePoint Framework (SPFx) client-side web part named "Checklists". It can be added to a SharePoint page as a web part, opened as a full-page app, or added as a tab in Microsoft Teams. The package contains no extensions and no other component types.
