Fable Security replaces that model with real-time coaching. This app delivers it directly in Microsoft Teams, so employees get security guidance in a tool they already have open rather than in a portal they have to remember to visit.
WHAT THIS APP DOES IN TEAMS
Fable Security sends personalized security content to each employee as a 1:1 chat message:
• Security briefings: short videos on the threats that matter right now, chosen for each employee's role and risk signals. Fable produces targeted briefings on an emerging threat within hours, so your workforce isn't waiting weeks for content.
• Nudges: a brief, in-the-moment prompt when someone needs a heads-up, delivered where they will actually see it.
• Acknowledgment and feedback: employees respond using buttons on the cards they receive, so engagement is captured without anyone leaving Teams.
This is a notification-only bot. It delivers messages and does not hold conversations, and there is nothing for an employee to set up. Once your organization is configured, content begins arriving automatically.
WHO IT'S FOR
Security and IT teams who are accountable for human risk and want coaching to reach employees in the flow of work. Employees receive content automatically; no action is required from them to get started.
HOW IT'S SET UP
An administrator connects Fable Security to your Microsoft 365 tenant and deploys this app to employees. Employees do not install or configure anything themselves.
WHAT HAPPENS OUTSIDE THIS APP
Program setup, audience management, reporting, and phishing simulation are handled in the Fable Security web application at https://app.fablesecurity.com, not in this Teams app. Administrators use it to see a live view of employee risk built from identity, email, device, and behavior signals, and to report measurable risk reduction to leadership and auditors. This Teams app is the employee-facing delivery channel for that program.
REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITATIONS
• In order to use this app, you must have an active account with Fable Security. Fable Security is sold as an organization-wide subscription; individual employees cannot sign up on their own. • This app is used in personal (1:1) chat only. It is not added to channels or group chats.
• The bot is notification-only and does not respond to typed messages.
• Which briefings an employee receives is determined by your security team, not selected by the employee in Teams.
