Confy AI

ABDK Confy AI lets you analyze, edit and chart your Excel data by chatting with an AI assistant. The columns you mark as private never leave your device. You get the productivity of an AI copilot without exposing confidential information to the AI provider.

How it protects your data

• You choose what stays private. Mark the columns that hold sensitive information, such as names, SSNs, card numbers, medical notes or wallet addresses. Their values are never sent.
• The AI works on stand-ins. It receives your other columns, the column headers and types, and synthetic stand-ins for the private columns, generated on your device. It writes its analysis as code against that data.
• Your answer comes from your real data. The code runs again on your real rows inside your browser, in a sandbox with no network access, and that local run produces your answer.
• Private marks stay accurate. They are saved in the workbook and follow a column when you insert, delete or move columns. If a new column or sheet appears, Confy AI asks you whether it is private before it answers your next question.
• No middleman. Requests go straight from your browser to the AI provider you choose. There is no ABDK server in between, and no ABDK account.

What you can do

• Ask questions about your data in plain English: summaries, trends, totals, comparisons and explanations.
• Edit and transform your spreadsheet: add columns and formulas, fill missing values, flag rows, clean up data or generate sample data. Confy AI writes its changes straight into your workbook and explains what it did. It changes only the cells it needs to and keeps your formatting.
• Build charts: create, change or remove charts by describing what you want.
• Pick up where you left off: each workbook's chat history is saved on your device, and you can delete it at any time.

Choose your AI provider

• Start free. The add-in walks you through getting a free Google AI Studio key. It takes about a minute and needs no credit card. On Google's free tier, Google may use the content you send to improve its products. Your private columns are masked before anything is sent, so they are never part of that content.
• Or bring your own key from OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Google Gemini, OpenRouter, or any OpenAI-compatible service, such as Groq, Mistral, DeepSeek or a model you host yourself.

Paid AI providers bill you directly according to their own pricing. ABDK Consulting receives no payment for AI usage, and never sees your key, your data or your usage. Your key is stored only on your device.

Who it is for

ABDK Confy AI is built for professionals who work with confidential data and cannot paste it into a public AI tool. That includes teams in finance, healthcare, insurance, legal, HR, pharma and government, as well as analysts, consultants, and anyone handling regulated or personally identifiable information in Excel.

Requirements

An account with one of the supported AI providers; a free Google AI Studio account is enough. Any individual user can use this add-in with their own AI provider account. No enterprise agreement or admin provisioning is required.
