Power App 4h Discovery Workshop for HR

HR Departments process a huge volume of administrative tasks based on the collection and provisioning of data mostly stored in excel files, mails or word documents.

• approvals and information on evaluation, training, leave, job change
• on- and offboarding data
• administrative data for fleet, insurance, management reporting

While Excel and other formats might have helped in the past to improve the collection and management of that data, the introduction of Power Apps can drastically improve that proces.

During a half day workshop we will work together and identify opportunities to create a power app in order to improve the data collecation and management.

Our approach is twofold:

• Inspiration: We inspire the attendees with real-world examples of Power Apps for an HR Department
• Exploration: -- Guided brainstorm: we'll list all returning questions on a whiteboard and discuss them. -- Clustering & Scoring: the attendees will score and organize the questions in relevant groups -- Feasibility & Scoring: Our consultants will discuss the technical impact and feasibility for each specific group of questions -- Scoring: Based on feasibility and business scoring, we'll create a shortlist of cases that can be a candidate of a Power App.

The final deliverable of the workshop is a shortlist of a set of returning questions that can be automated through Power Virtual Agents, accompanied by a high-level technical setup. This is the first step in automation and implementation of a Power Virtual Agent. Based on that deliverable, the customer can write a briefing and request an estimation from an implementation partner or from its own IT Department.
