A365 Contract is a management solution fully integrated with Dynamics 365 F&O, designed to support flexible ownership models of devices and fleets as well as after sales contracts.

Contracts

Contracts or Invoicing contracts can be a generic, unspecific contract, or assigned a Functional type for specific purposes such as Service, Leasing and Financing

• Indexing: Contract charges of the Periodic type - monthly, yearly etc. - can be indexed and updated according to index updates
• Invoicing schedules: Invoicing & Payment schedules can be generated to apply interest and prime rate updates or to cater for irregular invoicing periods
• Charges: Contracts typically have Periodic charges, which can be per month, week, year and more, but also allow service and sales items. Usage charges based can also be applied.
• Project relation: Link a project to contract to capture revenue and cost relating to the contract
• Discounts: Supports Multiline discounts along with regular percentage or amount discounts

Service contract

A service contract is typically created in relation to sales of a Device

• Service plan: Add Service plan with Schedule services (maintenance plan) to the contract
• Work order relation: The Service contract can be selected when work order is raised for the device
• Invoicing schedule: Capability to generate invoicing schedules for the service period or per service visit, and charge per visit

Leasing contract

• Leasing products: Setup which determines how to calculate the lease rate, based on Sales price or Cost price variations and various lease terms, such as 24, 36 and 48 months
• Residual value calculation: Setup to determine the Residual value percentage for each lease term
• Fixed asset handling: Devices on Leasing contracts can be reserved from inventory and moved in Fixed assets once the lease is confirmed
• Purchase options: Offer purchase options with various pricing models
• Sell device: Generate sales for device, based on Purchase agreement

Financing contract

A financing contract is created in relation to sales of a Device when company offers financing options

• Payment schedule: The payment schedule details the amounts invoiced during the lifetime of the contract
• Financing products: Setup which determines the terms for the financing and conditions
• Financing customers: Setup which determines the financing providers

Periodic Invoicing

• Multiple Invoicing Period Options: Choose from various invoicing periods such as monthly, weekly, or every four weeks.
• Consolidate per Customer, Requisition and More: Consolidate invoices based on customer, customer requisition or other criteria.
• Generate and Review Invoicing Journal: Review and generate invoicing journals before posting invoices.
• Generate Descriptions for Invoice: Automatically generate invoice descriptions based on parameters like registration number or meter reading.
• Setup provided to automate invoicing journal creation: Invoicing journals created at set intervals
• Credit and Re-Bill: Process credits and re-bill customers as needed.
