HashiCorp Vault Enterprise KMIP

HashiCorp Vault KMIP enables Vault to act as a Key Management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP) server, allowing KMIP-compatible clients—such as VMware vSphere, MongoDB Enterprise, and storage systems—to securely manage encryption keys using Vault. This integration supports standardized operations like key creation, retrieval, rotation, and deletion over TLS. Vault enforces strict access control via policies, provides detailed audit logs, and isolates key access using scopes and roles.
