This engagement is suitable for organizations who are considering migrating workloads to MS Azure — public, private or hybrid. The service help in moving infrastructure, applications, and business processes of an organization to MS Azure, thus freeing the infrastructure.

Deliverables

Preparation Deliverables:

• Plan Domain Name and DNS details.
• Check synchronization of database schemas.
• Setup the server and network environment on Azure.
• Testing plan for verification of the system healthiness after migration.
• Fall-back plan if migration is not successful.

Migration Deliverables:

• Migrate applications based on identified workloads.
• Migrate databases from the existing system to Azure.
• Migrate static web content from the existing system to Azure
• Fine-tune application configurations for any teething issues
• Conduct testing to ensure that new environment on Azure is ready

Switchover Deliverables:

• Migrate the last-minute changes of static web contents, and working files on application server (if any) from the existing system to Azure
• Sync the most current database with the DB server on cloud
• Verify migrated data and perform testing on the migrated application.
• Final check if the new environment on Azure is ready.
• Switch public DNS entries from the existing system to Azure.
• Confirm that applications have successfully migrated to Azure.

Testing Deliverables:

• Compatibility test
• Network connectivity test
• Performance and Load test
• Stress and Elasticity test
• Security Test (VAPT)

Assumptions

• Up to 10 VMs or services (Total vCPU 40, Total RAM: 160 GB)
• Data to migrate – maximum 3 TB
• Dedicated supported from the Application and Database team during the migration
