Insert and manage OrdoLux template fields as Word content controls for automated document generation
OrdoLux Tagger is a Microsoft Word Add-in that lets legal professionals tag documents with structured template fields using native Word content controls — enabling automated document generation directly from the OrdoLux case management platform.
With OrdoLux Tagger, you can:
- Tag document templates — Insert OrdoLux field tags as Word content controls by selecting text and clicking a field. Tags appear as visual markers in the document.
- Browse the live field catalog — Access your firm's complete OrdoLux field schema, including matter details, client information, fee earner data, and matter contacts. Fields are organised by category and fully searchable.
- Manage existing tags — View all tagged fields in the current document, jump to any tag, and remove tags you no longer need.
- Stay in sync — The field catalog updates automatically as your OrdoLux tenant configuration changes, so your templates always reflect the latest schema.
How it works: Select text in your Word document, open the OrdoLux Tagger taskpane, browse the available fields, and click to insert a content control tag. When you generate a document from that template in OrdoLux, the tagged fields are automatically populated with the correct matter data.
