Audit SharePoint pages and libraries for broken links, unique permissions, and checked-out files.
The app "Content Health Manager" - ships as a web part - helps SharePoint site owners, content managers, and IT administrators keep modern SharePoint sites clean, secure, and search-ready. The web part can be added to an existing page or can be used as single page application on one page.
Select one or more site collections to get a consolidated view of their pages and document libraries. For example, you can use the following features:
- scan pages for broken links
- see which pages have unpublished draft changes awaiting approval
- identify pages and libraries with unique (non-inherited) permissions
- see which files and pages are checked out and by whom
- look up a specific user's or group's effective permissions on any page or library
- Resolve users from Entra built-in roles and custom (Security-) Groups
- In document libraries and lists, find items that haven't changed since a given date
The add-in reads data through the SharePoint REST API and Microsoft Graph using the signed-in user's own permissions - it does not modify site content or permissions.
Requires SharePoint Online and at least Read access to the sites being reviewed; viewing detailed role assignments on a site requires Manage Permissions rights there.
