Rave Build

Rave Build for Outlook keeps job-related email where the job lives. Rave Build is construction management software for residential and commercial builders, covering sales enquiries, estimating, scheduling and project financials. This add-in connects Outlook to your Rave Build account so client, subcontractor and supplier email is filed against the right enquiry or project as you send it - no forwarding, BCC addresses or copy-and-paste.

Features

• Secure sign-in. Connect to your Rave Build account once using OAuth 2.0 with PKCE. No Rave Build password is entered or stored in Outlook, and you can disconnect at any time.
• Search from the task pane. While composing, switch between Enquiry and Project mode and search by keyword, job name or client name. Results are paged, so a long list of live jobs stays quick to work through.
• Tag an email before sending. Select one or more enquiries and/or projects. Everything linked is listed in the pane and can be unlinked with one click.
• Automatic filing on send. Rave Build captures the subject, body, sender, recipients and attachments and stores them against every linked enquiry or project, on that record's mail history for the whole team to see.
• Whole-conversation linking. Later replies in the same thread are matched to the same enquiry or project automatically, so ongoing correspondence stays filed without re-tagging.
• Permission and branch aware. Search only returns records your Rave Build user may see, and mail is only filed where your permissions allow.
• Available in the compose and read surfaces of Outlook on Windows, Mac and the web.

Subscription, add-on and charges

• A paid Rave Build subscription is required. This add-in is a companion to the Rave Build web application and has no standalone functionality. Without an active, paid subscription you cannot sign in.
• The Mail Sync add-on is required, at additional cost. Filing tagged email depends on Rave Build's Mail Sync module, a chargeable add-on to your subscription. Until Mail Sync is enabled, your mailbox cannot be connected to Rave Build and tagged email will not be filed.
• Both are bought directly from Rave Build and are not sold or billed through Microsoft AppSource. The add-in itself is free to install and has no in-app purchases. For plans, add-on pricing and a demonstration, contact us at www.ravebuild.co.nz.
• Requires an Outlook mailbox on Microsoft 365 or Exchange (Mailbox requirement set 1.3 or later).
• The add-in reads and writes only the message you are working on, to add the Rave Build tag.
