ABDK Confy AI — private AI for your spreadsheets

ABDK Confy AI lets you analyze, transform, and edit your Excel data through a natural-language chat with an AI assistant — while the columns you mark as sensitive never leave your workbook. You get the productivity of an AI copilot without exposing confidential information to the AI provider.

How it protects your data

Before any request is sent, you choose which columns hold sensitive information (names, SSNs, card numbers, medical notes, wallet addresses, and so on). Those values are excluded from every request. The add-in shares only non-sensitive columns and inferred schema metadata, generates synthetic stand-in data locally, works out the analysis on that fake data, and then re-runs the final result on your real rows entirely inside your browser. Your protected values stay on your device.

• Edit and transform your spreadsheet — add columns, fill missing values, flag rows, and generate synthetic data — with every change previewed for your approval before it is applied.

• Keep full control — nothing is written to your workbook without your confirmation, and original data is never altered unless you accept a change.

Who it is for

ABDK Confy AI is built for professionals who work with confidential data and cannot paste it into a public AI tool, including teams in finance, healthcare, insurance, legal, HR, pharma, and government, as well as analysts, consultants, and anyone handling regulated or personally identifiable information in Excel.

Requirements

This add-in requires your own OpenAI API key. AI usage is billed by OpenAI directly to your own account according to their pricing; ABDK Consulting receives no payment for AI usage and never sees your key, your data, or your usage. Your key is stored only on your device.

Any individual user can use this add-in with their own AI provider account — no enterprise agreement or admin provisioning is required.
