Mosaic Citations

Mosaic Citations is a citation manager and reference manager built into Microsoft Word. It is made for academic writing, where every claim needs a source, and it helps researchers and students turn a sentence into a properly cited claim without breaking their writing flow.

Select any statement in your document, and Mosaic finds verified sources for it, either from your own Mosaic library of papers or from the web. Insert an in-text citation in one click, then generate a matching bibliography in the style you need.

Requirements and data handling:

- A Mosaic account is required (free to create at joinmosaic.ai). Sign in from the add-in with your Mosaic email and password.

- When you request sources for a selected claim, the selected text and your query are sent to Mosaic and to its AI service providers to identify and verify sources. See the privacy policy for details.

- The add-in is free. It does not sell additional features inside Word.
