ThePoint Back to Top adds a floating back-to-top button to every page of your SharePoint intranet. It fades in once the reader has scrolled past a point you choose, returns them to the top with a smooth animation, and stays out of the way the rest of the time.
Built for intranet and internal comms teams whose pages have grown long — news articles, staff handbooks, policies, department landing pages. On a long page, getting back to the navigation at the top means a lot of scrolling; this removes that friction everywhere at once, without touching a single page.

Privacy and permissions
This package contains a single SharePoint Framework (SPFx) extension, provisioned with one capability — a SharePoint Application Customizer. It does not include any Microsoft Teams components or app.
No API permissions are requested and no Microsoft Graph access is used. The button works entirely in the browser: it reads no page content, stores no personal data, and sends nothing to any external service.
