ThePoint Employee Shoutout brings peer-to-peer recognition directly onto your SharePoint intranet. Any employee can post a shoutout for a colleague in seconds — pick the person from your directory, choose a recognition type, write a short message — and it appears instantly on the page for everyone to see.

Privacy and permissions

This package contains a single SharePoint Framework (SPFx) web part. It uses only the SharePoint REST API in the signed-in user's context — no Microsoft Graph permissions, no external services, and all data stays in your SharePoint tenant.

Licensing

A paid licence key is required for full functionality. The app runs in trial mode without a licence key; a trial banner appears above the web part and is removed once a valid key, purchased from ThePoint, is entered. Learn more at the-point.uk or contact us for a licence or support.
