• In-chat onboarding: Install Credal or type Get started to view setup steps, limitations, and support links.

Account required

In order to use Credal in Microsoft Teams, you need to have an active Credal account. Your Microsoft Teams sign-in email domain must match a domain registered with your Credal organization. A Credal administrator must enable the Microsoft Teams integration, configure agents, and set a default agent for direct messages before the bot responds.

Configuration outside Microsoft Teams

Agent creation, data connections, and Teams publishing are configured in the Credal web application at app.credal.ai, not inside Microsoft Teams.

Limitations and conditions

• Credal will not respond until your organization completes Credal and Microsoft Teams setup.
• Credal is available in personal (one-to-one) chat only. Group chat and team channel scopes are not supported.
• Direct messages use your organization's default agent only. If no default agent is set, Credal cannot respond in direct chat.
• Agent capabilities depend on your administrator's configuration in Credal.
• Human approval workflows for actions are not currently supported through the Microsoft Teams bot.

Microsoft Teams capabilities used

This bot uses Teams messaging for personal chats only. All primary interactions take place inside Microsoft Teams.

AI-generated content disclosure

This integration uses artificial intelligence to generate responses. Replies are produced by AI agents configured by your organization and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Always review responses carefully before verifying important information.

Report objectionable AI-generated content by emailing support@credal.ai with conversation context, date, and a description of the content, or log an issue at app.credal.ai.
