Provenance is a trust layer for financial models and decks. It brings version control, automatic error-checking, and an AI deal assistant to Excel and PowerPoint — so teams move fast without breaking the model, overwriting a colleague, or losing track of what changed.

What Provenance does:

• Version history — save named versions of a workbook or deck, pull the latest, and never overwrite a teammate's work.
• See exactly what changed — compare any two versions with cell-level, structural, and downstream-impact detail, and route changes to reviewers for sign-off.
• Catch errors before you save — a deterministic checker flags broken references, hardcoded overrides in formula ranges, inconsistent formulas, sign errors, and balances that don't tie, and holds the version until they're resolved.
• Ask the Deal Brain — an AI assistant that reads the documents in your data room and answers questions about the deal and the model.
• Works across Excel and PowerPoint.
