providing a consistent document intelligence experience across Microsoft 365.
Value Proposition

a
single interface, improving productivity and reducing the time spent searching for information.

administration, and easier maintenance.
Account Requirements / Dependencies
- Active Microsoft 365 subscription
- SharePoint Online environment
- Appropriate permissions to access selected document libraries and files
- Permissions to view document version history and activity information
- An external AI service and API connectivity are required only if AI summary functionality is enabled
The solution operates within your Microsoft 365 tenant. AI-powered document summaries are optional and require
integration with a customer-configured external AI service.
Data & Security
Document metadata, version history, and activity information are retrieved using SharePoint Online and Microsoft
Graph
APIs while respecting existing Microsoft 365 permissions.
When AI Summary is disabled, document processing remains entirely within Microsoft 365 services used by the
solution.
When AI Summary is enabled, document content is transmitted to the customer-configured AI service solely for summary
generation. Customers are responsible for selecting and configuring their preferred AI provider and reviewing the
provider's data handling and privacy policies.
