AI Risk Analysis of Every Clause. Open any Word document (MSA, NDA, SOW, order form, DPA) and Raindrop automatically parses each clause, classifies it by type, and assigns a Low / Medium / High risk rating with a written explanation of why the clause is risky based on your standards.

Standard / Playbook Comparison. Raindrop compares every clause against your organization's pre-approved Standard language and explicitly highlights what is missing, weakened, or different — so reviewers see exactly where the third-party paper diverges from your position.

One-click Clause Replacement and Redline. Accept Raindrop's suggested fallback language and the add-in inserts a tracked-changes redline directly into the Word document, preserving formatting and comments. A side-by-side diff viewer lets reviewers preview every change before applying it.

Contract Summary. Generate an executive-ready summary of obligations, dates, payment terms, liability caps, indemnities, termination rights, and renewal terms — produced inside the task pane in seconds.

Interactive Contract Assistant. A built-in chat assistant lets reviewers ask natural-language questions about the open document ("What is the liability cap?", "Does this auto-renew?", "Is there a data processing addendum?") and receive grounded answers with citations back to the clause.

Secure Microsoft 365 Sign-in. Single sign-on via Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) using OAuth 2.0 with PKCE. No passwords are stored in the add-in; access is governed by your existing Microsoft 365 identity and conditional access policies.

Works Where You Already Work. Raindrop runs as a Word task pane on Word for Windows, Mac, and Word on the web. There is nothing to install on user machines beyond the add-in itself.

Getting started

After installing the add-in, click the Raindrop button on the Word Home ribbon to open the task pane, sign in with your Microsoft 365 account, and open any contract document.
