TrustWorks is a privacy platform built to make compliance a collaborative effort across your entire organisation — giving compliance teams the visibility they need to identify risks, trigger assessments, and take action before issues arise.
This Microsoft Teams integration brings that visibility to where your teams already work. Anyone in your organisation can submit an initiative directly from Teams, giving your privacy team the context they need to evaluate potential data protection implications — without asking anyone to log into yet another platform.
What you can do:
- All users can submit initiatives directly from Teams — as long as the integration has been set up previously by a TrustWorks administrator.
- Choose from four initiative types: Projects, Vendor Onboarding, Business Processes, and Product Requirements.
- Attach files (PDF or DOCX) and links to give your compliance team the full picture.
How it works:
Once your administrator enables the integration in TrustWorks, any Teams user can open the app and fill in a simple form. The initiative is instantly created in TrustWorks, assigned to the submitter if they're an existing user, and immediately visible to your compliance team — ready to review and act on.
Requirement: An active TrustWorks subscription with the Microsoft Teams integration enabled — set up by an administrator via Settings → Integrations in the TrustWorks platform.
