Embed live websites in PowerPoint, Excel, or OneNote.

Deliver remarkable presentations by embedding live sites in PowerPoint. Web Viewer 2.0 loads AI apps, dashboards, and websites directly on your slide, so you can present them without leaving the deck. It also works in Excel and in OneNote on the web.

Free Trial

Web Viewer 2.0 includes a free trial. Once it expires, a subscription is required to continue using the add-in. All plans include a 60-day money-back guarantee.

Most Work Is Forgettable, Presentations Are Not

A presentation is one of the few moments when colleagues and leaders see your thinking, preparation, and delivery at once. Protect that moment.

  • Don't look unprofessional. Leaving the deck and changing what you share interrupts an otherwise polished presentation.
  • Don't divide your attention. Speaking to a room is demanding enough without managing tabs, windows, and sharing controls.
  • Don't lose the chance to impress. A presentation is your moment to stand out. Make your PowerPoint remarkable.

Web Viewer 2.0

Web Viewer loads sites directly on your PowerPoint slides for use during your presentation.

  • Load sites on any slide. Paste an HTTPS URL, then adjust the size and zoom.
  • Use interactive content. Navigate and interact with AI apps, dashboards, polls, and other web tools.
  • Secure by design. Our add-in never uploads your slide contents to external servers.

How It Works

  1. Insert Web Viewer 2.0 on a slide in PowerPoint.
  2. Click the www button, paste a website link that starts with https://, and click Load.
  3. Resize the viewer and adjust the zoom. Web Viewer saves the URL, zoom level, and toolbar state with your presentation.
  4. Present and interact with the live page during Slide Show.

The Successor to the Original Web Viewer Add-in

Microsoft retired the original Web Viewer add-in for PowerPoint in December 2024. Web Viewer 2.0 is the successor to the original add-in and also replaces older add-ins that showed live web pages but no longer work in current PowerPoint. Web Viewer 2.0 runs on Windows, Mac, and the web.

Private sites may require a sign-in session, so test important links before presenting live. Learn why some links are blocked.
  • Why did my Web Viewer add-in stop working? The original Web Viewer add-in for PowerPoint was retired on December 2, 2024, so slides that used it no longer show their web pages. Insert Web Viewer 2.0, its successor, on those slides and load the same links. Replace retired Web Viewer slides.
