Easily access and manage your Egnyte content right from within Microsoft 365

Egnyte's integration with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft 365 Copilot helps your teams work faster without leaving their Microsoft workspace. Access and share Egnyte files where the work happens, and put secure AI to work on your content while it stays in Egnyte. You can now also connect Egnyte as a data source in Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat, Cowork, and Researcher, with content accessed securely through the Egnyte MCP server.

Egnyte for Teams and Outlook:

• View and edit files shared within Microsoft Teams channels
• Access an Egnyte folder connected to a Teams channel through the Egnyte Tab, and open and work with its files without leaving the channel
• Upload files directly to Egnyte from Microsoft Teams
• Share Egnyte files in the context of Teams conversations or Outlook emails
• Save emails directly from Outlook to an Egnyte folder of your choice
• Quickly access recently added or edited Egnyte content and insert secure links in Outlook
• View files shared in Teams chats in a dedicated Files tab for better organization
• Manage your content and quickly access your Bookmarks and Shared Links with the Personal Tab

Egnyte in Microsoft 365 Copilot:

• Add Egnyte as a data source in Copilot Chat, Cowork, and Researcher through the Egnyte plugin, so Copilot can work with your Egnyte content alongside your Microsoft data
• Use Copilot with your Egnyte content to generate summaries and answers, with source file references for quick preview and sharing

Egnyte AI Agent:

• The Egnyte AI Agent now connects to the Egnyte MCP server, giving you direct access to both your Egnyte content and Egnyte Intelligence inside Copilot
• Use Egnyte AI tools such as AI Assistant, AI Search, and agents for Microsoft Copilot to get insights and answers from your content, not just access to files
• Search, summarize, and ask questions about your Egnyte content, then act on it using the tools exposed through Egnyte MCP

Egnyte respects your existing Egnyte access permissions, so users only work with the content they are allowed to access. The set of tools available through Egnyte MCP may vary depending on your Egnyte plan or subscription.
