kagent (provided by Solo.io) is an open source, Kubernetes-native framework for building, running, and managing AI agents. It brings a declarative controller for agents and tools, MCP tool serving, a web UI, and pluggable LLM providers to Azure Kubernetes Service, with enterprise support from Solo.io.

Prerequisites
An AKS cluster and an LLM provider API key. After install, create the provider Secret and
ModelConfig in the kagent namespace (see
https://kagent.dev/docs/getting-started/configuring-providers). kagent will not run agents
until a provider is configured.
