Managed Services for Azure: Migrate and Modernize Your Estate, Then Run It 24x7
بواسطة Simplicity IT Inc.
Lower Azure spend 27% and cut incident response to under 15 minutes, 24x7.
Built for the IT Director or head of cloud platform who has an Azure estate running production workloads and a platform team of two people who are also the on-call rota. This engagement will reduce the operational burden of running Azure around the clock and lower the monthly consumption bill.
Who this is for
Organizations running production workloads in Azure with a platform team too small to hold a credible out-of-hours rota. The IT Director is usually aware that the current arrangement depends on two named individuals and their phones. This service takes the run state, including the parts that get skipped when a small team is busy: backup restore testing, patch compliance, and cost review.
What we deliver
- 24x7 monitoring and incident response against your Azure estate with defined response targets by severity, alerts tuned to your workloads rather than a default rule set, and a named escalation path into your team for business decisions.
- Patch and update management through Azure Update Manager with maintenance configurations aligned to your change calendar, plus monthly compliance reporting showing what patched, what deferred, and why.
- Backup and disaster recovery operations: policy configuration, daily verification that backups actually completed, and a scheduled restore test per quarter with the result documented, because an untested backup is an assumption.
- Monthly FinOps optimization covering right-sizing against observed usage, reservation and savings plan coverage, orphaned resource identification, and a cost report attributed by tag so the spend has owners.
Outcomes our customers see
FinOps optimization lowered one customer's Azure spend by 27 percent over 180 days with no workload changes. Median severity one acknowledgment across the managed base is under 15 minutes, measured continuously across 365 days. Quarterly restore testing found 3 backup policies at one customer that had been reporting success while protecting nothing for over 200 days.
How this compares
Azure managed services in this market are usually monitoring with a ticket queue attached. The FinOps component here is what customers renew on, because it is measurable and usually exceeds the service fee within the first year. Quarterly restore testing is the other differentiator, and it is deliberately included rather than optional: backup jobs reporting green while protecting nothing is the single most common serious finding when a new customer is onboarded.
Architecture and Microsoft alignment
Operations run through Azure Monitor with a centralized Log Analytics workspace, action groups, and alert processing rules, with Microsoft Defender for Cloud providing security posture and threat signal. Patching uses Azure Update Manager with maintenance configurations. Protection uses Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery with recovery services vaults. Governance is enforced through Azure Policy. Cost analysis runs on Microsoft Cost Management with a tagging taxonomy. Access is delegated through Azure Lighthouse, so we operate in your tenant with scoped just-in-time rights and every action is logged in your own activity log. Aligned to the Microsoft solution plays Migrate and Modernize Your Estate and Drive Cloud Success through Unified with Enhanced Solutions.
Plans
Plans, prices, and full scope per plan are on the Plans tab of this listing.
Prerequisites
An Azure subscription with production workloads, Azure Lighthouse delegation accepted at subscription or resource group scope, a tagging taxonomy or agreement to adopt ours, and a named business contact for escalations requiring a business decision. Existing monitoring and backup configuration is reviewed during onboarding and remediated as part of it.
Limitations
This service operates the platform. Application-level support, code changes, and database administration beyond platform operations are out of scope and quoted separately. Azure consumption is billed by Microsoft directly to you; our fee is for the service. Response targets apply to alerts reaching our monitoring, so workloads outside the delegated scope are not covered.
How to buy
Buy through the Azure portal, using Get it in Azure portal on this listing, so the purchase is billed through your existing Microsoft agreement. Private offers on request.
