Power Apps: 6-Week Fixed-Scope Application Delivery

Internal application projects grow sideways when nobody fixes the boundary: a request becomes a screen, a screen becomes a module, and six months later the app has no owner and no definition. This engagement is scoped as a single application with a fixed screen count and a fixed data model, agreed in writing before the first screen is built. Everything else goes into a quantified backlog you decide on separately.

This engagement is built to get your team productive on Power Apps itself, not just on one application. We configure the platform capabilities your licenses already include: Microsoft Dataverse as the data layer with its security roles, the standard and custom connectors that reach the systems you run today, canvas or model-driven design chosen against your actual use case, and the environment and data loss prevention policies that let you keep building safely. Your makers finish the engagement able to extend the application in Power Apps on their own, with the solution files and the maker training to do it.

Duration: 6 weeks, delivered remotely.

Engagement phases: (1) Discovery - Process mapping with the owners of the process, inventory of the systems in scope, and definition of success criteria. (2) Design and configuration - Solution design signed off by your team, then configuration in a development environment. (3) Integration and data - Integration components built and data migrated from the source systems agreed in phase 1. (4) UAT - User acceptance testing against the success criteria, with defect resolution. (5) Training and go-live - Role-based training sessions, cutover and go-live support. (6) Stabilization - Post go-live stabilization window and handover to support.

What is included in this scope:

• 1 application, canvas or model-driven, with up to 8 screens or forms.
• Dataverse data model with up to 10 tables.
• Up to 50 named users in up to 4 security roles.
• 1 integration against a system you operate today, standard or custom connector.
• Migration from up to 4 spreadsheets or legacy tables.
• Environment and data-loss-prevention policy configured for the app.
• Training: 2 end-user sessions plus 1 maker/administrator session, all recorded.
• 2 weeks of post go-live stabilization.

What you receive:

1. The working application, published in your tenant.
2. The managed and unmanaged solution files containing everything built.
3. The integration component and its technical documentation.
4. Your migrated data plus the mapping and transformation logic used to load it.
5. The documented environment and DLP configuration.
6. Technical and end-user documentation, and recorded training per role.
7. A support handover plan and the backlog of items left out of scope, quantified.

Not included in this scope:

• Microsoft licenses, third-party software and infrastructure.
• Work on systems other than the ones listed in the scope above.
• Data cleansing beyond the agreed source format. Anything outside the scope above is quoted in writing and approved by you before it is built.
