IRI CoSort replaces legacy sorts, speeds ETL and DB loads, reports, and wrangles data for AI and BI.
IRI CoSort is a high-performance data transformation, quality, and wrangling package for large, structured data sources. It provides a fast, scalable alternative to legacy sort and data-processing utilities, with support for complex, combined data preparation jobs, including sorting, merging, joining, aggregating, filtering, cleansing, reformatting, and reporting. CoSort works on fixed and delimited (e.g., CSV) text files, scalar RDB tables, COBOL and flat EDI (JSON, XML) files, ASN.1 CDRs and Excel.
CoSort can produce output in one or more custom-formatted file, table, and report targets for analytics, applications, data integration, and AI pipelines. Its self-documenting metadata and Eclipse IDE helps you define repeatable processing jobs without developing large amounts of complex code. CoSort also provides operational controls, logging, and governance capabilities for managing production data processing jobs.
CoSort is designed for data engineers, ETL developers, DBAs, application developers, IT operations teams, and AI modelers responsible for moving, preparing, transforming, loading, or reporting on "big data." CoSort is particularly useful for organizations that need high-performance batch processing, data preparation, and reporting but want to reduce dependence on multiple job steps and hardware upgrades. Teams migrating mainframe and legacy ETL workloads to Windows and Azure can also benefit; CoSort can run in Azure and supports data in flat files stored in Azure Blob and SharePoint Online as well as scalar table data in MS SQL and CosmosDB.
